About the Psychoanalysts Program

Our Psychoanalysts Program has been in existence for over 40 years, providing a stable source for Professional Liability insurance you can count on. Our team services over 1,500 psychoanalysts and mental health professionals who understand your profession and can help you navigate the complexities of professional liability insurance. We work hard to ensure our coverage remains competitively priced, reflects your practice as a mental health professional and covers the various ways you provide services to your patients.

As Assistant Vice President of the Psychoanalysts Program, Brenda knows the challenges faced by psychoanalysts in their everyday practice. Brenda has been responsible for underwriting this program for more than 30 years and strives to develop and maintain long term relationships with all of her doctor-clients. She heads a team of service specialists comprised of highly trained individuals dedicated to anticipating and servicing their clients’ needs and delivers sound advice in identifying exposures and addressing those risks through appropriate coverage.

Jenilynn joined the Psychoanalysts Program in 2014, and has over 19 years of experience in the insurance industry as an Account Executive. She has an Associate degree in Business and holds a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Jenilynn is bilingual (English/Spanish) and a member of the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. With her deep insurance background and account management expertise, she delivers excellent service and advice to physicians insured with the Psychoanalysts Program.

Claudia is an Account Executive with 15 years’ experience specializing in Professional Liability. She joined the Psychoanalysts Program team shortly after having graduated with her Communications degree from Caldwell College.
She strives to provide her clients with excellent service and the professional attention they deserve. She is knowledgeable about psychoanalysts’ business concerns and maintains relationships with her customers, always putting them first.

Kenneth C. Hegel Jr.

Managing Principal/EVP – Middle Market & Specialty Programs Practice Leader

Ken is a Managing Principal/EVP of EPIC’s Middle Market & Specialty Programs Divisions. Ken has over 18 years of insurance brokerage experience predominantly focused in the program space. He specializes in developing competitive and creative insurance solutions for his clients at a cost-effective price. Ken is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance broker and is currently working towards his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Farleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has authored several insurance articles published in various trade publications. Due to Ken’s efforts, EPIC was recently named one of the Top Program Administrators by Insurance Business of America Magazine (2017).
